Not a list of rules, just a few simple practices that make hard days a little easier to carry.
Small daily habits that protect your mental health

Taking care of your mental health does not have to mean big changes. Often it is the small things, repeated over time, that make the most difference.
A few ideas to start with
- Protect your sleep. Try to keep similar times to go to bed and wake up, even on weekends.
- Move your body. A short walk outside already helps lower stress and lift your mood.
- Make room for pauses. A few minutes without a screen between tasks gives your mind time to settle.
- Stay in touch. A message or a call to someone you trust can mean more than it seems.
- Notice how you talk to yourself. Would you speak to a friend that way?
Be kind to yourself in the process
Habits are not a test you pass or fail. Some days you will manage more, others less. What matters is coming back to what does you good, without guilt.
And when small habits are not enough, that is not a failure either. It may simply be the moment to ask for more support.
